In the 1940s, Theodora “Teddy” Getty discovered an abundant source of natural mineral water, in the heart of Texas. Astounded by the purity and taste, she made the decision to bring this “miracle” water to the people in Los Angeles. She opened a store front, transported the water by railcar and began providing water to her community.

Now, Eighty years later, her daughter, Gigi, kept her promised and gave the company new life, continuing her Mother’s mission to bring Legacy Water to life.
